If you mention the breed Lowchen, many may not have heard of them.  However evidence of this ancient little breed has been found in Europe as far back at the 1400s.  The "little lion dog" is best known for their peculiar haircut.  However the breed make a fantastic companion for many people worldwide. Lowchen are a non shedding breed, and very few health issues affect the breed.  Although this breed has many positives, it is very rare and was even close to extinction.
